Welcome to the dickfralickriverrun.com website. For those of you who didn’t know Richard “Dick” Fralick, he was a kind and honest man who was involved in the local Millersburg community in many ways. He married and became a devoted father of four, grandfather, and great grandfather. A World War II veteran, Dick taught and coached at Millersburg for 38 years before retiring in 1988. A christian man, Dick let family and faith come before anything. During his many years in Millersburg, Dick met and became friends with many people. He and his wife, Shirley, were involved in many groups and organizations. One such organization was the Millersburg Ferry Boat Association, which he had become past president of. Dick took great satisfaction in being part of this “Small Town Perfection” that is Millersburg. He passed away on July 21st, 2011. We honor him with this event.
The course is run along both the Wiconisco Creek and the Susquehanna River and is flat and scenic. Both the Swinging Bridge and the Ferry Boats docked along the river are visible on the course.
